The songbird... or the cage?

I kind of liked it. Picked the songbird because it's pretty. I don't think it lives up to the hype, and there are a few... problematic parts, treatment of women etc, but it was fun to play and some of the characters (the 'twins' in particular, who I feel really stole the show) were really interesting.

It's a game worth playing through, but it's a bargain bin purchase and definitely not a full price one. The gameplay is terrible, and while the story is definitely on the bad side it still gave me a "sense of wonder", for lack of a better term. Colombia is a magnificent place to visit once, but I have no urge to ever go back.
