Don't worry i'm at ~95°C right now on ESO (on my laptop) and have everything on low-medium.
I have a cooler fan underneath it but it has shut down due to overheating a few rare times during peak temperatures in summer.
It's 4 years old now and I have dusted it thoroughly last week.

In other words, you're not alone
(In fact it's even at 100°C right now, while being afk in town)

100c is where most silicon encounters permanent damage.
    i7-4770k - GTX 780 Ti - 16GB DDR3 Ripjaws - (2) HyperX 120s / Vertex 3 120
    ASRock Extreme3 - Sennheiser Momentums - Xonar DG - EVGA Supernova 650G - Corsair H80i

Well it's been around those temperatures for almost as long as I can remember, I even sent it back ~1 year ago (still under guarantee) for them to change the fans and take a look at this problem because it shut down a few times as I said. Since then it never happened again.
But oh well, I've got a new one coming in 2 weeks so I don't care much any more. I still have to go buy a new cooling tablet the celebrate it's arrival

    Good morning.

I'm back and my laptop has been off for 12+ hours and on for just 25 minutes now, and this is what temperature for idle of GPU looks now:

    While CPU is about 49 \ 49 \ 49 \ 49 celcius.

Going to see how much this changes when going into Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

    *Update*
While playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag after PC has been on for 45 minutes or so

CPU seems to run a bit hot for idle but given that it's a laptop. Seems about right. Temps for AC are fine too under load.

Those last set of temp you sent were more than fine.
If at some point you think about a cooling pad, the cooler master u3 is pretty good.
If you're feeling confident about opening your laptop (or know someone) applying some new (and good) thermal paste would bring the most notable drop in temp.

I'm not sure what store to look at for those, I'm in Scandinavia.
