Error #1020 help

I just patched the game up, after not playing for a month or so, and when I try to launch it fails, and says error #1020. Anything I can do to fix it?

Some of these error numbers can be a bit tricky to track down, from memory #1020 is a Visual C++ error, there's also errors for not having .NET Framework installed right up to Kaspersky's 'Safe Money' been enabled

Try installing/updating Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 first:
