I really thought I wasn't going to see it tonight, because yesterday it was snowing (!) for most of the day. Just went downstairs to the kitchen and took a peek out the window. It's really something! And knowing that the next blood moon will occur a day after my dad's birthday will make a nice present.

The Eclipse happened when the moon was fairly high here so we didn't get that double dose of Raleigh scattering. So it was redish but not that crimson goodness.

That is actually a really good idea. Awhile ago there was supposed to be an aurora here, but the skies were cloudy. Tonight the skies were clear so I could see the moon perfectly

I was sad.

At work, the moon was bright through broken clouds and I could see it clearly most of the time.

But I get home and around the time the eclipse was suppose to happen, it clouded over.
