Dark Portal Monkey's is a 10 man semi-casual raiding guild based on Lightbringer EU going 25. Alliance.

About Us

The guild has been around since August 2007, we originally used to be a 25 man raiding guild clearing all the TBC and LK content in the top 5 on Lightbringer at the time. A merger in 2010 saw us turn the lights off for awhile. Mid Cataclysm we had quite a few of the older members return and have begun back with nice and easy 10 mans. Currently progressing in SoO 10 Heroic.

Schedule

(Wednesday 9:30 - 11:30pm : Sunday 8:30 - 11:30pm : Monday 8:30 - 11:30pm)
As it says we have a casual raid schedule with just 3 days a week due to other commitments but are still able to achieve good progress in the time we have.
We sometimes have optional alt runs around the weekend wherever possible.

Raiding with us

One of the main things we've always prided ourselves on in DPM is a relaxed atmosphere and a good core member set who do offer help and support where needed. During raids we try to maintain this but do expect you to see the serious side and keep focused during these times. Loot is distributed with a loot council aimed at progressing the guild not for your ilvl so be aware if loot is your primary focus we probably are not right for you.
Weekends are usually spent in Flexi on alts and chilling out with achievement runs and such.

What we expect from you

It goes without saying but you must know your class, read up on it and push it to its limit! You must be gemmed / enchanted and reforged correctly and should not be told to do this. All raids are provided with full guild repairs / cauldrons / feasts. This does not mean you can turn up empty handed to raids you should still have your own.
You must be fully read up on the encounters we are progressing in. Always allowed to bring a sense of humor!

Recruitment Message:

Due to us going 25 man we are recruiting to fill up the few gaps when have after merging the 2 10 man teams. We only need ranged DPS. We are in high need of boomkin and the rest of the ranged casses (with the exception of hunter) we will consider.
