How did Cho'gall survive his encounter with Me'dan?

I'd like to see Med'an featured in a big way, and have him totally blow it. Believe his own hype, overstep his bounds, and see a lot of people he cares about die because of it. From that point he can cease being a Mary Sue.

Y'know, Me'dan gets a lot of hate and I don't like him either, but think about this for a second...

Arcane power, light power, shaman power.....isn't that like the blueprint for the "has all the powers you can't have" super villain?

Just make Me'dan go bad, for any reason, even straight up "he went crazy" and players will love the chance to kill him in a 5 man.
