It's not needless. These people are resoponsible for the exploitation of hundreds of thousands of women and children around the world. They are the underlining problem and they need to bear the full force of the law. The European parliament established that 2 months ago. It's time for the member states to do the same and fix the situtation caused by legalization.

How is a man who pays to sleep with a woman only when he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that she isn't being trafficked contributing to trafficking?

doesnt matter that the sex is real, nowhere does it say you cant have real sex in a movie.

if you have a problem with it just ask the slags to let you film them before you pay them. boom legal and you are now a director and a producer and an actor.
The law doesnt have to state that something is illegal in done in a film if its already illegal outside of a film. There is no law stating its illegal to murder someone in a film either, but it doesnt mean you can. Everything that is illegal outside of a film is illegal to film as well unless the law is written otherwise. So not sure why porn is an exception

Thats true for porn produced by legitimate film companies, but half the shit you see on xhamster and those kind of sites is stuff some Joe Blow shot with his camera phone at a frat party (IE not a professional studio who follows all the regulations) yet they are never prosecuted

But everyone knows that Escorting is just a cover for prostitution since nobody is going to pay someone just to hang out with them for $100 an hour to watch a movie at home or go out to dinner

You might be surprised to learn that very little amateur porn is actually amateur. I would wager that an overwhelming MOST of the porn that's out there is staged and produced...how ever dorm like the setting, or however chance the meeting with the actress in the grocery store.
Get a grip man! It's CHEESE!

Jack again pays Jill $1,000 to have consensual sex with him in his apartment, but films it with the intent to distribute the film. Jack is a film director, business owner, contributor to the economy, and, most importantly, not breaking the law.

I'm left scratching my head on that one. What is it about filming paid sex acts that suddenly makes something illegal into a thriving, multi-billion dollar industry? Last I checked, filming yourself doing drugs could be used as incriminating evidence - not an opportunity to make some money.

    Thoughts?

I have a feeling the people who want prostitution to be illegal would also prefer porn to be illegal.

If the woman plays her cards right, the woman are beneficiaries in these friend zone scenarios. So in the presence of these alternatives, they will have to pay by "putting out" if they want to keep the benefits of to the fairy tail mindsetted man. Because if she doesn't, there's a prostitute that will and the man will likely gravitate towards that.
