Will the Vision in Time Kairoz quest line become a FoS?

One thing I've been thinking about is that since: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=33337 this questline basically exists for lore purposes, once WoD launches, could this questline become a FoS and taken out?

It doesn't award any achievement for finishing the whole thing right now, but since Kairoz is involved with freeing Garrosh, I think there's a relatively reasonable chance they make having completed it prior to WoD a feat of strength.

There's no reason for them to change it. Nothing about the timeless isle is going away.

They haven't taken out the horde quest in BC where you go escort young garrosh around, now have they? They didn't make that a feat of strength either.

There's a difference though in a leveling quest and a quest line whose only reason of existing is to foreshadow the future.

And there's precedence with the Golden Lotus quests being mostly removed and that story achievement being removed.

Yes, but the stinted way things happen in WoW doesn't mean those quests would have to be removed. I mean, in lore, Ragnaros is dead and gone, but you can still do all the firelands dailies where you fight his forces who all hail his name. Same with Sunwell and Isle of thunder and all of those.

And there's precedence with the Golden Lotus quests being mostly removed and that story achievement being removed.
That's because the vale of eternal blossoms exploded. The fundamental nature of those quests, and the area as a whole, was changed.

If they were blowing up the timeless isle or fundamentally changing it, I might be more inclined to agree with you (even though the kairoz quests are pretty independent of any feature of the timeless isle beyond the shiny rocks and killing rares.) But it's just going to sit there, the way it is now.

    To me the difference is:

All the other leveling/daily quests need to remain there for the rewards they provide. You can't really take them out as that effects tons of people.

The Kairoz thing, a quest line which solely exists for foreshadowing, you don't lose anything for taking it out. Far less than the Golden Lotus thing even. (If they wanted they could've given it the Theramore treatment and add a toggle to restore the old form to do the quests)

I could even see them adding in achievement (not a removable FoS) in the pre patch to complete the quest line as it foreshadows WoD. Without ever removing it.

To me, the Kairoz thing is more similar to a pre launch event. Something to foreshadow the next xpac with minor/no rewards. All those other questlines like IoT were part of some form of progression both during and after they were current. This questline has no progression attached to it.

The fundamental difference here is that the location isn't changing. That's really the only reason they ever take such things out. The timeless isle is still taking place in Pandaria's timeline, in which Garrosh is still being "foreshadowed" to escape; nothing about the timeless isle's chain has been "moved past that point" chronologically. And that being said, nothing you actually do over Kairoz' quest chain actually changes anything, like pre-expansion events are supposed to. Pre-expansion events are supposed to have one, definitive thing happening, like the dark portal opening, or the scourge invasion, or the elemental invasions of the cataclysm, or theramore getting blown up. Those are all events. But Kairoz' quest chain just gives you glimpses of the future.

Kairoz's 'glimpses of the future' are just visions. While 3 of them have been implied to have happened, Seeking Fate, Hidden Threads and One Final Turn haven't occurred yet (Unless Seeking Fate does happen in War Crimes, and Kairoz just experiences his own vision).

Back on topic, if the quest chain were to be removed, wouldn't someone have already said that that was the case?
Isn't it ironic how education is important, yet people forget all about it when they visit the internet?
