My laptop ain't detecting the nvidia gpu

So I've got an MSI GE70 Laptop, and for some reason I've noticed that the laptop ain't running on the nvidia gpu but the integrated Intel HD graphics card now. I tried deactivating the Intel HD gpu in Device Manager and run DxDiag to see if it would detect my nvidia gpu, but then the PC didn't detect anything.

I've checked in the Nvidia Control Panel and gone through each game I have to be run on the nvidia gpu, but still I can see that it ain't running on it. I remember I logged onto WoW the first time on this laptop and everything looked so detailed, now it looks like I'm on a medium settings.

Anybody knows how to fix this problem I have?

I sit plugged in to a wall socket? Some laptiops will default to the onboard GPU when running on battery to save power
