Never occur they are just good? Like meeting Germans, they roflstomp me and my team every time. But hey, they must be cheating.
Entering random bgs with gear and co-ordination?? In a multi-player game!? Those cheating b&%$^"&s!
While they generally "steam roll" the average timeless isle geared group, a couple or several players with better than average individual skill will, more often than not, come out on top from my experience.
I think this problem stems from the fact that there's a stereotype that Russians resort to cheating in online games. It's nothing new, it's been around for as long as online gaming has.
The reinforcement for this comes from the way WoW's matchmaking works. As it stands, it's "true random". There's no gear-based matchmaking, so you often find teams of undergeared randoms being pitched against fully geared players. Additionally, there's no protection against being matched against premade groups. This means that you get undergeared randoms being pitched against experience RBG groups.
I blame Blizzard for this. There's no one else to blame. Know how many BG's I've done at 90 on my recently levelled Warrior? 12. Know how many I've won. None - not a single one. Know how many times I've been pitched against Russians? 7 matches. Know how many premades I've been pitched against? 6, with 5 of them being RU premades. Know how pissed off I am? Very. It's complete bullshit. My Warrior had only a small number of TI items when he started (gotta love them duplicate tokens), with the rest being a mix of greens and blues and less than 380K HP. Straight away, pitched in with enemy DPS with 520K+ HP. You could say that HP isn't everything, but it's a fairly solid indicator of level of gear, and in this case, a very stark contrast of how different our gear was.
The worst part is when it's Russians, and I can't even type their fucking names. Am I expected to have a Cyrillic keyboard, or have some sort of addon or program to translate? Am I expected to track this player down and use %t? No, I have to use the name of their class, which doesn't narrow it down in most cases. There always seems to be some fishy BS going on. It differs between matches, and of course I experience it in non-RU matchups too, but the difference is that in non-RU, I can usually figure out how it happened.
Against RU, it always seems like there's some unexplainable bullshit happening. I dislike calling people cheaters, but I've seen players even managing to run up the cliff at Mine in LM (on more than one occasion too). Yeah, you know, the sheer fucking drop that'll almost kill you when you fall off. I've seen Warriors double-heroic leap. And the most common one, which get's my absolute fucking back up, is the latency bullshit. Players who are running, appear 5 yards in front of me, but which are magically out of range of 30 yard abilities. You could put it down to server latency, but I've experienced this against a moderate number of RU players and very little against any other groups. Then we've got the interrupt bots which are prevalent in all groups. And finally, something that the Russians seem to have remastered, powershifting Druid bastards. Before the debuff could have even appeared on their screen, they've managed to shift out of snares and roots and back into whatever form they were in before. This is another set of reasons why people don't fucking want to be matched against them. It's not about being "outplayed", it's about the fact that it's either premades, massive outgearing, or random cheat-esque bullshit they pull off.
The worst I've seen in non-RU was people getting out of the gate in AB before the match started, but I haven't seen that even for a while (I think the fixed it). Seen a few triple-vanish oddities but that was due to my lack of knowledge against rogues at that time.
I'm sure Blizz will help you guys with this just as soon as they stop putting us in random dungeon groups with people from the Brazilian servers who more often than not can't/refuse to speak English. Which is to say, probably never. Just curious though, how exactly do you "cheat" in a bg?
Sometimes the russian groups are just to laugh at, really, beating them often lately...
... the dreaded moment where you meet a russian pre-made group... The horror starts.
Only thing lately I see as a problem with them is in 2 battlegrounds... Alterac Valley and Isle of Conquest.. They stack in by their own boss, just waiting there (most likely bots or people who think they are having the best plan). Feels odd, not really a fight.
Btw, thank you to the russians who served as tools for my achievement. It is not as big as the last stage you can get, but 100.000 kills is more than enough for me.
Stuff can be fixed, just get enough glue or duct tape!

Oh and naturally also all the mmr exploiters. When i used to play seriously i kept up with the development, no idea whats currently going on.
I just don't understand why these players don't want to move to russian realms if they still keep to russian groups on their present realms...
I mean, even they could enjoy not having so much lag on the other realms, and I'm certain there has been some free migration to the russian realms at some point.
