At least get a mobo with a PCIe 3.0 slot?

Here, get this one instead: http://www.microcenter.com/product/419243/B85M-E33_LGA_1150_mATX_Intel_Motherboard

Found it. Whats the benefit in comparison with a PCIe2?

There really isn't any performance difference to worry about.

Which CPU do you have or are you going with?

going with the i5 4670. So no overclocking and stockfan. I know its haswell, supposed to be next gen, and the 1 Angella is proposing appears to be next gen aswell. Is that why hes reccomending?

It's so you can use current gen graphics cards. PCI 3.0 is twice the bandwidth of PCI 2.0 for graphics throughput. If you're going with a cheaper graphics card then yeah it won't matter. Just check the specs on the card.

Using the ASUS Geforce GTX 770. Its compatible with the Asrock aswell. Guess the one you proposed is easier to upgrade future cards with right? And for the same price as the Asrock, it hardly makes a difference. So ur proposition would indeed be the better choice considering future upgrades.

With real-world gameplay performance advantages under 10% it doesn't change the actual gameplay experience. It in no way allows us to improve in-game quality settings nor does it give us any advantages over the PCIe 2.0 system. As we've stated previously in this evaluation, the technical performance advantages are "benchmarkable" but not relating to the gameplay experience.

There is Little to no difference that anyone will notice with a 2.0 and 3.0 systems. certainly not enough worth worrying about, and certainly not enough to say "you get twice the bandwidth" and have it mean anything.

Regardless of how much (it also reads its reaches 7% increases), its an upgrade for essentially the same price. + if i want a new video card in say 2-3 years, i can be sure it fits the newer PSIe socket. Now i just need to find a shop that sells it here.

From what I understand the B85 is a lower quality business chipset, whichever you pick won't make a big difference either way. "PCI-E 3.0 GPU" works with in PCI-E 2.0 slots, you're not really future proofing anything, SLI/CF won't be a possibility either so at the end just get whatever is cheapest and has a decent review/feedback.

Here is some more comparisons for different chipsets:

Germany? (as the first link seemed to indicate) Here are some other options for vendors:

Hehe im dutch. Using the german pricepicker because it correlates in prices.
Guess i could just stick with the Asrock h81m then i had in mind earlier. Has good reviews aswell.

could maybe pay 10 bucks more and go with

Yeah well, i see them going for as much as 200, so i figured there must be alot of difference to them. I doubt ill be using things as SLI or crossfire, when i want to upgrade my GPU ill just slap in a brand new 1 :P Besides that there isnt much difference right? Aside from the ammount of input slots.

Allrdy got some websites sorted out for ordering, the ones u linked (besides alternate) arent much preferred :P

I just read that the H81 doesnt support SRT, im planning on getting a m500 240gb SSD. Is that gonna be a problem, since the h81 cant cache SSD's?

No just install your OS on the SSD, run it as your main drive and be done with it. SRT was for when SSDs were really expensive and much smaller capacities.
