About us:

Tribes of Darkness is on the Malorne (PvP) server. We have been around through multiple expansions and have raided both 25mans and 10 mans. We have always been a semi casual guild but we are looking to change this come WoD. Our server’s population dropped when many of the top guilds transferred during WotLK. However thanks to the new connected realms a surge of life has given us a spark. We are currently connected to 5 other servers: Drak’Tharon, Rivendare, Firetree, Spirestone and Stormscale. We currently run two 10 man SoO groups. Both groups are progressing nicely with our farthest group being 13/14H at the moment.

We are currently recruiting all classes and specs!

What you can expect from us:

We are going to become more hardcore come WoD. We will not be playing favorites. Performance is going to be the key. If you outperform someone in the same role as you, you will not have to worry about the security of your position. You can expect that we will be fair and just in deciding the roster and who loot goes to as we will most likely be adopting a form of loot council. We want you to have trust in our decisions and we understand that maintaining a fair and honest loot system is a way of achieving this. You can also expect that we will be providing the structure and environment set up for progressing as fast as possible through current content. You can also expect a raid group that is fun to be in. We want to be serious in terms of progression but we understand that to have optimal group cohesion having fun is important. We want you to enjoy being a part of our guild.

What we will be expecting of you:

You should be skilled, dedicated, and willing to challenge and better yourself under any circumstances. We're looking for people who are going to be committed for the entire expansion (being consistently on time and prepared to raid), but more importantly people who don’t have a problem sitting on a fight if it is needed. We are particularly interested in people who are highly motivated and have extensive knowledge of their class and other classes. This means doing the research and testing necessary to excel and play your class at the highest level.

If you get offended very easily or don't respond well to criticism, than this is not the guild for you, as we like to crack jokes and have fun during raids. We also expect that your skill will be up to par with any of our other current raiders. If you are highly skilled you may not be subbed out unless your spec/class performs notably poorly on a fight. To add to that, if you are asked to sub out you will be expected to do so for the betterment and progression of the guild. For this reason we will also strongly suggest that you maintain an off-spec. We encourage competitiveness and you should drive yourself to become more efficient at adapting to any fight or any role. We will be striving to be the best and you should too.

For the people who are joining with sufficient gear to raid this tier we will swap you in for fights. We understand that it would be a long wait on the bench for WoD and we want to keep you active. This will in turn let us see you in a raid environment and we will have our own logs of you to examine.

With beta happening eventually we will also want to explore it as a guild. This will give you an opportunity to check out the classes and specs you are thinking about playing next expansion which will aid us in determining what we still need to recruit.
