I haven't seen anyone with impressive comprehension and discussion skills in this forum. At best, flawed logics, rubbish links...I hardly ever see someone linking scientific material while discussing. Even if it's linked, it is mostly not understood. Most have an opinion when they should not, most express their ideas without any clue. Worst part is they are so deadly ignorant that they don't know they have no clue... Endus makes sense, sometimes, I give him that but that's about it I guess.

I'm the same, but it's a local scope. Once I'm in a new thread, I don't really pay attention to who's posting, and what other threads they've posted in.

Depends on the topic, honestly. A lot of the people here have tons of knowledge in
one field, but little to none in another, (as most people do.) So yeah, knowing the
topic would really help.
