Synthesis 10H is looking for more competent raiders for WoD. Having recently merged with the excellent Sympathy, of the same Turalyon US server, we still need a few more excellent raiders to fill out our roster.
All specs, classes, races will be considered. We're offering trials at the present to 570+ geared raiders with similar progression. If you don't quite meet the ilvl req. you can add me and attempt to convince me of why you should be allowed to trial in spite of your lack of gear/progression.
Synthesis is a bros club. We have a very active guild, outside of WoW and in. We watch TV together, movies, play League, Dota 2, and a grand assortment of other games together. We're gamers through and through, and excellent ones at that. We are friendly, compassionate, and we make lots di.ck jokes. Lots. Of. Dick. Jokes. But mostly we're defined by our brolationships, not so much the di.ck jokes.

Guild Structure, Loot System, and You
Synthesis, acknowledging that with the influx of new players a power reorganization was in order, developed a role-leadership position based officer system. A melee, ranged, and healer officer, to govern strategies, bench swaps, and to pay special attention to role-specific mechanics. We, of course, have GM, assistant GM, and a technical officer as well. This personalized officer system, which minimizes the responsibilities of each individual officer allows for closer attention and care to be paid to said responsibilities.
Synthesis also found ourselves at an impasse when it came to deciding how to distribute loot with the new 20-man model. Being stuck between the traditional DKP and loot council systems, we decided to be smart little ***%@#@* jokes and create a better, faster, stronger loot system. Combining the efficiency of DKP and the intelligence of a loot council, by creating a hyper powerful, dynamic excel program and automates loot in a fast, and brilliant manner.
And You! Oh, you. You’re looking for a new guild, and you’re wondering if we’re the guild of your dreams. And we probably are, but what we’re looking for in a candidate is, actually, rather a lot. Of course, you have to be good at WoW, that’s a given. But we look to foster a GUILD environment, rather than just a raid environment. Many of our players, throughout our history, have retired, moved on, but they are still part of the guild. These are the kinds of relationships we will, and have fostered, and the ability for a recruit to acclimate to our HOME is weighed, heavily, during the trial process.
Trial Period
Your trial period is indefinite, but historically we’re aware of how we feel about you as a person, and a raider, by two weeks. During those two weeks you are entitled to nothing, that doesn’t mean we’ll DE your BiS in front of your eyes to test your mettle, just that our current members are more entitled to any piece of loot than you are. Assuming you pass your trial you will be a member of the guild! You’ll be plugged into our loot system, and welcomed as a member of the team. Great expectations are made of you, as you forge ahead to be part of the greatest guild that EVER WAS (jaykay). As a full member you’re expected to keep up with the theory crafting community for your class. We understand you probably work, have kids, a job, a girlfriend, a dog, love reddit, are a competitive eater, have a passion for potato art, but we as a guild need dedication from our members, are being on top of your class and part of your class’ community.
WE WILL TRIAL YOU ACROSS SERVERS, in a limited capacity, for an undetermined number of boss fights. We will use our best judgement and trial you on fights we feel will best allow us to gauge your ability to play, the World of Warcraft. WE MUCH PREFER YOU TRANSFER, it shows that you’re committed to us, your trial, and it also displays a certain degree of confidence. Confidence, while cited by women all over as being extremely attractive, is what makes people good at anything, including video games.
