Just got back onto WoW with their 7 days free gameplay offer. It's nice to relive the old memories and see the changes but no one I know is really playing anymore.

Also, are they planing on giving anymore spells or abilities to us besides our level 100 talent? Because it just seems like they removed a ton of them. I haven't been following MMO Champ since I quit.

They just removed a shitton of useless/rarely used abilities to cut back on the button bloat for WoD. Combined a lot of them together too. Hunters, for example, don't get Serpent Sting anymore unless they roll Survival, and even then it's baked into Arcane/Multi Shot.

How do you win though? Ping them down with the burn spells?

Young Pyromancers: summon 1/1 Elemental for every instant or sorcery cast. It's a red weenie deck, instead of the usual green weenie deck.

Lately I think white is way more standard weenie than green alone, but yeah I figured those are another way.
I just wasn't quite sure if they are enough to poke things down.
As long as you can keep the board clear while getting more and more of them it should be fine though.

Depends on the color you are playing if you want to avoid your creatures dying.

Shroud and Hexproof can be dealt with in a few ways, but it sure is annoying. Mostly board wipes are the answer to these.


I improved my Tariel EDH deck yesterday with Silence the Believers, Rout and Boros Charm. The two 3 man games I played yesterday were a little too easy for me, which was weird as I usually get some challenge from my friend and brother when we do this.

I need to find room for Swords to Plowshares, Utter End, and another board wipe of some sort, possibly some mass exile effect.

You adjust your playstyle to the decks you're facing. If the opponent isn't running trample creatures, you use all your DD spells against him directly, and just block with your 1/1s.

Remember, if you get all four Pyromancers down, you get four elementals for each 1 mana instant or sorcery.

Admittedly, seeing how it's a typical annoying "let's not play the game" izzet deck....it deserves that every time it happens. ^^

Eh, if you get no Pyromancers, it just means throwing as much of your DD as possible as fast as possible becomes more urgent, thus the draw cards. The Pyromancers provide blockers, primarily. You win through DD.

I never understood that either, especially when 2014's sealed mode was pretty bad.
