    First build ever, help

    Budget: 700-800€
Resolution: 1920x1080. Don't plan on going to 4K until it's the cheap household standard.
Games / Settings Desired: For right now, just WoD at good - high settings at 60 FPS in 20-man raids.
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc): I'd like to possibly start streaming and recording videos, which is something I've been unable to do with my current computer.
    Country: Finland
Parts that can be reused: Optical drive, HDD
Do you need an OS?: I plan on sticking with my Windows 7.
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?: No.

GPU-wise I've heard the GTX 760 is a very solid bang for the buck option, but would it be enough to run a smooth 25-man (20 in WoD) stream? For CPUs, I understand an aftermarket cooler is not needed for a non-overclocked CPU, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Is there a particular website(s) you would be buying from in your country? In order to fit the build within the budget.

Where and how you order parts in Finland is going to play a major role here. I am totally unfamiliar with the process there. But here is something that at least uses Euro's for a ball park. It gets you a pretty solid system. The 760 is a REALLY solid card for 1080p. For WoW video card isn't as important as processor. But with this build it gets you an SSD for your OS (and WoW for zippy load times, PLUS allows you to write video files to your older HD at the same time), a rock solid i5 K processor that can be OC'ed at a later date if you don't want to now, and pretty much everything else you would need that you don't already have. Of course the i7 is 'best' for video editing and stuff I don't consider it a requirement. The i5 will get the job done on an amateur level. If you plan to go professional than the i7 becomes more the better choice. Also more ram makes a better choice for MAJOR video editing. 8gigs is all you need really for gaming. 16gig becomes a better choice for MAJOR video comping. 8 will work, 16 will just make it work a bit quicker. So for hobby level I think you will be fine with 8. If you plan to try to make money than consider 16.

I did put a cooler on there as well. I figure why not. It makes less sound and a cooler processor preforms better. The processor is the most key part in a PC when it comes to WoW performance. If I had to pick something to peel price back I would start with going a little cheaper on the case, might be able to go a little sub grade on the video card branding, and so on. Also you have tons of options with the motherboard. If more or less features are needed it can be used to extend or lower budget a bit as well.

For a game like WoW it is all about that processor. So I would really recommend doing an overclock. Even if it is a super tiny one. The chip will easily push up to 4.0 without ANY stress or heat issues. Don't get me wrong it could go a good bit higher in all likely hood because 4.0 is VERY mild (we are talking almost its 'turbo' speeds when its running super cool).

I am sorry but the above build is a non-go. i5 k with non Z87 mobo.
Corsair cx series has been completely rubbish.
FD R4 is a beautiful case but doesnt really fit the budget as in too expensive compaired to the build.

I'm more so looking for a general direction for the parts than concrete retailers.

I've gotten recommendations to get at least a 250GB SSD for better performance (even if I only end up installing the OS and WoW on there). What's your take on that?

I dont know how much different are prices in finland compared to germany but it shouldn't be too far off.
If the build there is more expensive you could get a cheaper motherboard
If with this mobo is still too expensive, another option is to make an i3 build which should be around 100euro less.

Get cheaper RAM and SSD. Crucial memory should be cheaper and for the SSD look for the crucial m500. You can get away with a proper 550 watt PSU. That should put you closer to 800 euro's without losing performance.

Also what I just noticed, you picked a micro-ATX case, but your mobo is ATX I think. So either get a bigger case or another mobo

There is no performance benefit on taking a 240/250 over 120/128. If you plan to just have WoW, OS, and a couple other games, you'll be fine.

I have a 250gb, and at the moment I have about 150gb used between Windows, WoW, GW2, Diablo 3, Wildstar, and 30gb of Steam Games (L4D2, Borderlands 2, C&C 3, Stanley, Torchlight 2, Starbound.. etc etc...)

With OS and WoW you're looking at ~60gb used, 50gb free. That'll leave plenty of room for at least a couple other large games.
