Have you ever done drugs?

So, a few weeks ago I tried XTC, I've never been the type to try all kinds of drugs, but I went to this Trap/JumpUp/Dupstep party with a good friend of mine and he had 2 pills of the stuff. Needless to say he offered me to try half a pill. I don't know how the situation is in other countries, but in Belgium, on parties like this, a lot of the people are on xtc or stuff like that. (We're kind of progressive on drugs).

Now what happened next, is beyond words, I'll descripe it as accurate as possible.

The first 20-40 minutes you don't feel anything. When I took the pill I was kind of tired and a bit drunk, 30 minutes in I started feeling sober, actually, sober is not accurate, you know the feeling when you're right out of bed after a night of very good awesome sleep? Kinda like that.

1 hour in, I caught, by figure of speech, the tail of the dragon, how do I describe it? Have you've ever cycled before? Then you know the awesome feeling when you've got the wind in your back, its like that. Every move you make feels like its natural, it doesn't take any effort, it doesn't require any thinking, its like you are born to dance. My mind felt like I could take on Sherlock Holmes in a mind battle, my body felt like I could run a marathon.

I don't know if you've ever been to a Dupstep/JumpUp/WhateverTheKidsCallItTheseDays party, but the beats, the people, its awesome, the music is not really my thing, but I couldn't do any other thing then enjoy myself, I didn't have this much fun in years, and I'm the kind of person that can enjoy himself in all kinds of situations, with or without drugs.

Moral of the story? Don't be afraid of things you've never done before, you're missing out. Have you ever danced like no one is watching? Imagine 2000 people dancing like no one is watching, its awesome.

Don't ever, NEVER EVER do drugs you're not familiar with in a setting that you're not comfortable with, seriously, DON'T.
I don't want to talk anybody into taking drugs, I just want to share my experiences.

I do not feel any shame for what I did, I know drugs are addictive, I know they can be dangerous and I'll do it again. I'm not a junkie, I'm not a criminal, I've never done anyone any harm.

Some of you are going to say "you're going to die of overdose", to those people I say, "You're going to die of boredom".

Seriously kids, don't do drugs...

Just pot when I was younger. These days, alcohol only, and I'm pretty well good with that. I'm not a fan of the idea of anything hallucinogenic. Most drugs in general don't much appeal to me, but given the right context, I'm not viciously opposed to trying things.

Started taking Acid when i was in high school around 1992 or 1993, took it almost weekly until about year 2000. I still take it on occasion, but haven't done it in a few years. I smoke weed every day since about 1995. I have/had a cocaine addiction that was active between 2004-2007. I've had nitrous oxide, crystal meth, I've done mushrooms, Dmt, and any other thing i thought might make me trip. If i could get my hands on drugs right now (other than cocaine) i'd probably take them.

So you are promoting the idea of people trying ecstasy? Probably should read the forum rules as you aren't supposed to promote illegal activity. On a side note I have done X and didn't notice anything remarkable the 7 other people in the group seemed to like it though. I smoked a fair amount of pot and don't really care for it so haven't smoked any of that in the past 10 years or so.
