Hey guys!
NTSC is faster than PAL and it's very noticable on consoles such as the Sega Mega Drive. Games like Sonic 2 play faster (normal speed I guess) and have faster music on the NTSC format while they run slower on the PAL format.
Is this down to the actual console itself or the video signal that the console is sending?
I ask this because I recently purchase this SCART to HDMI upscaler which can convert PAL signals to NTSC signals (I didn't buy it for this reason).
I'm just curious if this would increse the speed of all my PAL Sega Mega Drive games due to converting the video signal to NTSC format?
Thanks!
