How do you guys find the BEST choice of reforging/gemming/enchanting(Resto 13163)

Hey guys!


Im currently at 573 ilvl and my healing is quite nice, if not on top im atleast on-par(Not saying meters count)

I do however know i can push my healing even further if i gem/reforge/enchant propperly for the 13163 haste breakpoint.


I seem to have a lot of trouble finding the best gemming/reforging choices. It seems askmrrobot doesn't really work for resto druid, and reforgelite simply doesnt have the 13163 haste breakpoint.

So i was wondering, how do you guys calculate the best output of gems/enchants/reforges when going for the 13163 breakpoint? Do you do it yourselves? Insert different values in ReforgeLite? Askmrrobot?

Not a main resto, but askmrrobot works fine for resto. Go into "Edit Weights" and change the soft haste cap to the 13163 one, and then select static spirit and enter a value you are comfortable with. I set mine to around 15000 spirit, with 575 item level, edit this to what you feel is good, save it and click optimize.

I do the same except that I set spirit to 12500ish. It's never been a problem for me, but make sure the values for haste < 13163 and mastery are more than half the value of int. (ie. You want 2 mastery to be greater than 1 int.)

Like the others, I use custom settings in AMR. I also do some common sense individual modifications. Usually Artful, Purified, and Reckless gems are interchangeable to a point. So, if one is much less expensive, I see if I can use them instead (using the AMR interface and locking it) to still get the results I want. If I have a cheap weapon or bracers, I lock in the less expensive enchant. If AMR wants me to redo lots of gems, I try locking the gems and see if I can make it give me a workable result. I always set crit to 0 and tell it not to add Haste between breakpoints.

Since you have the Samoflage, you should be able to get away with dropping some spirit. You might also consider going for the Pandaren boot enchant, since the additional speed can be useful. As the others have said AskMrRobot works great for resto, gemming seems a little odd sometimes but mostly it's pretty damn accurate. I play 10 man and run with PPoP and Thok's trinket with 15k spirit in the static spirit setting on Mr robot with 13162 HBP and it works wonders for me. Mr robot usually gets my reforging a gemming on the dot.

as long as you know how much of each stat you want, like haste 13163, and approx how much spirit, then customize AMR and you will get good results, just using AMR will just cost you a lot and won't net you your desired stats.

Thank you also mate, reason for me not using that boot enhcant is because of the blink talent, some say it's not worth taking it, but i use it so much(Also, you tend to play better with talents you enjoy - some say)
