New info leaked from Coro Coro:

Wally confirmed to be back with Mega Gallade! Not much else is know about Mega Gallade at the moment.

Mega Sharpedo, Still Water/Dark, has Sharp Jaw, All stats increase.

Mega Camerupt, Still Fire/Ground, has Sheer Force, All stats increase except for speed which is lowered.

Primal Groudon's ability is call Land of Endings, Mega Kyogre's ability is called Rain of Beginnings, both seem to activate a more potent version of Drought/Drizzle.

Primal Groudon's signature move is called Cliff Sword.

More info! Here's the updated US site.

Mega Gallade remains a Psychic/Fighting type and gains Inner Focus as an ability.

Primal Groudon/Primal Kyogre's abilities (Desolate Land and Primordial Sea) makes their respective weather not only permanent, but also prevents it from being removed (except for the other ability, and quite possibly a Primal Rayquaza), and negates Water and Fire type moves respectively. However, the reverts back to normal weather when the activator switches out.

Mega Rayquaza confirmed (this is NOT Primal Reversion)!

Rayquaza gains a new ability called Delta Stream, which stays active as long as Rayquaza is in battle. It also has a new signature move called Dragon Ascent.

    No trainer customization.

    http://www.gonintendo.com/s/239474-pokemon-omega-ruby-alpha-sapphire-lacks-trainer-customization-random-battles-here-to-stay

"In terms of the customization of the trainer, that was really kind of a special thing for the Kalos region, which featured this kind of motif of France and really focused on this beauty and fashion aspect, which is why it was a prominent feature in that game. For this game, we're focusing on adventuring elements, so we don't have the actual free customization of the trainer, but you'll see the items you use throughout the game visually represented; for example, when you're underwater, you'll have this little mouthpiece that lets you breathe. So there's some cool stuff for how your trainer changes clothes and puts on accessories throughout the game.

I still have my original Sapphire. It, and FireRed were the last Pokemon games I ever bought.

Is the remake worth getting? I don't understand any of this "mega-evolution" stuff.

Mega evolution, as I understand it, is just a special type of ability exclusive to some Pokemon in the game that basically buffs them up a little.

Mega Evolution is a temporary form change which changes a Pokemon's stats (except HP), typically increasing it, but there are some which are lowered to give more to another stat (as is the case in M-Beedrill). Requirements are: only one Pokemon per team per battle can Mega Evolve, said Pokemon most hold a specific item to even do so, you must have a specific key item (Mega Ring in X and Y, Mega Bangle in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire), and the Pokemon in question must have a strong bond with you.

Here's an article on Bulbapedia about Mega Evolution and every single Pokemon with one.

    http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mega_Evolution

The remakes seemingly change up the story. First thing is the story incorporates Mega Evolution into it. Hoenn Champion Steven Stone studies Mega Stones instead of just stones. Team Aqua and Team Magma have been given updated costumes and plots, both Kyogre and Groudon get Primal Reversions, which are reversed Mega Evolutions, Rayquaza gets a Mega, among others, added Pokemon from other regions, the ability to fly with Mega Latios and Latias and supposedly be capture every single other legendary not capturable in X and Y and not an event legendary, improved Secret Base functionality.

GO back and look at the last 2 or three pages and you'll get most of the info on the changes, or go here:

Some people think it's a Mega Evolution, but why would they give a Mega Magician? It's probably a form change for Hoopla.

No word on Mega Jynx? She's my favorite Pokemon and she was on the leaked trademark Mega list.
"Being bad never felt so good!"

  19. #139
It's quite possible Jynx may be getting a Mega. Remember, the US still hasn't gotten their demo and Europe, Australia, South Korea got Mega Glalie, and Japan got Mega Steelix.

Who knows, the US might get Mega Jynx.
