First of all I don't necessarily agree with everything he is saying. I also don't necessarily agree that porn always needs to be abusive or degrading, also I don't agree that porn is always male oriented. But I also have to admit the guy raises some valid points regarding the influence of porn on how we express our sexuality. **I have to specify as some people apparently missed my point...what most interested me in this video is how what we seen on screen can seep into our psyche and sex life, and that what we see on screen isn't necessarily an improvement**

porn is made as a product just like everything else. if there are people who LIKE to watch that sort of porn then why the hell should't they make it? If you think that porn is "real" then you need to get your head examined. also I'm not in the business of telling people what should and shouldn't be "acceptable" when it comes to sexual arousal or preference. outside of child rape/necrophilia/beastiality.

Pretty much this. He's basing his opinion off a fairly narrow selection of pornography, ignoring the fact that porn is shifting away from the Ron Jeremy types banging big-boobed bimbos and towards a more diverse market primarily based off amateur pornography.

That is such a narrow view of "porn". There are actually quite a few sites that specifically cater to this kind of porn.
I would almost use the meant funny but accurate "erotica" for that.
I myself will skip any kind of hardcore butt pounding porn or anything that has as it's purpose to degrade women (slapping, spitting etc).
But i do love porn that is more like "real" sex. I understand that 90% of even that kind of porn isn't "real" but its meant to arouse, not degrade.

I never understand the one way or the other attitude to anything. No porn (arousel) is bad, 100% porn is bad. It's like eating meat or not eating meat. theres a middle ground
