We are three students from the Linneaus University in Kalmar, Sweden and we are studying microtransactions. In order to study this we choose to take a look at League of Legends.
In this study we intend to identify the buying habits of the game’s users and their attitudes towards microtransactions (in-game purchases). The in-game purchases only refer to those purchased with Riot Points and not Influence Points, in other words - purchases with real-life currency.
