[ Music ] Looking for a good rock band :D

    Hello,

I cant seem to find a new rock band to listen to, could you guys recommend me some good bands. I tend to prefer Alternative Rock over other genres.

I made a list of the bands I have listened to, so I wouldn't waste your time:
    3 Days Grace
    Rise Against
    Muse
    Breaking benjamin
    30 Sec to Mars
    The White Stripes
    3 doors down
    Paramore
    Thousand foot krutch
    Linked Park
    A day to Remember
    American Authors
    A7x
    Foo Fighters
    Sum 41
    Imagine Dragons

    Thanks

Yo. A good way to find new music to listen to when you are searching for something similar is google who influenced the bands you like and give them a listen and then who influenced them and so on, take a little journey through the decades. I'll warn you now that you will eventually get to The Beatles at some point no matter who you pick haha.

Newer Incubus, or even older stuff if you don't mind funkier stuff (S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and earlier mostly).

Really, you should check out Pandora.com. You add a bunch of artists, and it plays you a radio station, and picks bands that are similar. I know
of and like most of the bands you mentioned, so I feel I can look through my Spotify playlist and give you some suggestions.

    Alter Bridge
    Bush
    Candlebox
    Crossfade
    Default
    Disturbed
    Eve 6
    Fuel
The Killers (already mentioned by Butler)
    Lynam
    Mutemath
    Our Lady Peace
    Papa Roach
    Pearl Jam
    Seether
    Shinedown
    Trapt

If you like softer stuff (you mentioned 3 Doors Down), maybe try Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, and This Day & Age. Also, yes, I know a lot of these bands are older, and some are grunge, but it's all rock to me.

Also also, if you want to give it a try, Abandoned Pools. Mellow-y, kind of grunge-y, a tad of electronic, makes for a un-definable band. Which apparently I'm attracted to.

I saw Volbeat at Roskilde festival last year and they are really good, there was better action on them then metallica on the same festival imo.

Faith No More from The Real Thing (Mike Patton) onward. I'm not sure if you can call it "alternative rock" or "rock" of any kind, but I'm sure they've always been a bit alternative. And awesome.

FNM is returning to touring this July, and Billy Gould teased about there being potential new stuff still in the works some day.

You could always try Beloved, they are a great band that never got popular. Death to Traitors is probably their most "well-known" song.

Bloc Partys debute album was great, lots of energy, good lyrics. Anything that come out of Manchester in the 80s, Primal Scream is my favorite though. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club wasnt bad when they had their breakthrough. Radio 4 isnt bad, hit and miss though. Placebo, good and bad. Silverbullit, mostly good, solid. There are so many bands I like. But thats a couple.

This is dangerous if you are in the car. Great energy. Lol
The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness". You cant dissect it. Its a current that runs up the center of your spine. I dont know if any of you have sat down, crossed your legs, smoked DMT, and watch what happens... but what happens to me is this big thing goes RRRRRRRRRAAAAAWWW! up my spine and flashes in my brain... well apparently thats whats going to happen if I do this stuff...
