What happened to the "Display Item Level" option?

When I quit playing at the end of Cata, had no money for MoP or subs, I remember there being an option in the interface to view the item levels for individual pieces of gear. Now I know that it should be skill>gear, however I would still like to know the individual item level values of what I have equip not just what my average item level is. So was the option removed and is now reliant on an add-on or am I just blind?

Every item should still be showing their ilvl. I think you're confusing yourself with an addon that puts the ilvl next to the item itself in the character pane.

Yeah, the item level of an individiual item is shown under the name of the item.

So I guess I was just blind than. I remember it being towards the bottom of the stat display of an item not near the top. Now I feel like a nubbins =/
