Anyone else spot the glaring leap in logic here?
Assumes a) a view of time that is linear as we perceive it. b) a beginning c) assuming you're talking about the Big Bang, that's only a theory for the creation of the current universe.since all natural things began with the origin and therefore no natural thing could have been the cause.
Oh ok, so then that part of your post was utterly meaningless? Why would killing almost all marine life somehow be a problem?
You seem to be making a lot of assumptions, not really basing this off of hard evidence. Lots of "Ya but-"s. Maybe if the flood went down exactly how you would want to think it did, but all we really know is that it was a global flood, and how exactly it went down is not a known fact.
“Humanism means that the man is the measure of all things...But it is not only that man must start from himself in the area of knowledge and learning, but any value system must come arbitrarily from man himself by arbitrary choice.” - Francis A. Schaeffer
The only religion that stands out is Evangelical Christian. Most don't care outside of that at least for religion. I don't like that. Atheism isn't a religion but they are just not understood. It's a lot like Gays and Lesbians 10 to 20 years ago. On top of that though, we have loud mouth Atheists who seem of their rocker parading around, making it worse.
Since this thread seems permenantly derailed into discussing religion rather than the original article, this thread seems to have stayed open long enough.
