Playing favorites needs to stop

...keep in mind the post contents/subjects that are not allowed:

Posts that contribute nothing ("what does this have to do with WoW" etc)
Meme replies (LOL, TL;DR, OVER 9000, /thread etc)
Image macros and image memes
"Do my homework for me" threads. (Asking for a push in the right direction is ok.)
Religion
Nationalism and nation bashing
Conspiracies
Pornography/Nudity
Sexuality/Gender identity
Do-it-yourself weapons or explosives (Use common sense!)
Content that is considered illegal by law

With how heavy handed OT mods are with locking threads, it's absolutely inexcusable that they blatantly play favorites with nation bashing threads. There is postively no reason why this thread should have remained open for as long as it has with nothing done about it. 90% of the posts are just blatant flame bait bashing the US, pushing stereotypes and general ignorance.

Why not, instead of discussing mod actions/inactions and bashing mods as biased, thus, creating a thread against the rules (ironic isn't it), you use the report function and then forget about the thread. Close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and go "la la la" and you won't be offended.

I don't get why people get so annoyed about nation bashing , If someone started saying that they thought everyone on Ireland were loud drunks and that they wish our island would float out into the Atlantic and were being serious I'd just contest their points instead of of moaning about how hurt I was about how they generalized my country.

Report posts that you see in the thread that are an issue and we'll deal with them. If something isn't being dealt with, escalate it by contacting a global moderator to look into things. Creating threads to rage about a thread that upsets you only invites other people to try to upset you more and is against the rules here.
