Pretty sure I'd rather get stabbed and mugged on the subway rather than see that spider in my house.

As you are lying on the floor bleeding, alone, thats when the spiders come......

I fairly certain that is not a false widow. It looks a lot more like a Triangulate cobweb spider (or Steatoda Triangulosa if you prefer). It matches the natural range which includes most of the USA.

Here is a video of one feeding. Go to the 1:45 mark for a very clear top view image.

Here are the image search results from Google for the same spider:

I would have captured it and studied it, not freaked out. That might just be the weird curious side of me, though.

It's pretty cute, just pick it up with something and leave her outside.

Throw up for that? geez talk about overreacting
Just grab it with a glass/paper underneath and release out of the window.
The funny thing about doing that, if you for some reason leave the spider in the glass for some time it will completely fill it with web

It's a Banded Garden Spider (Argiope trifasciata).

I just find it so hilarious, and I thought Denmark was the one that was not supposed to have dangerous wildlife...

A single badger could take on a pack of dogs, one on one the badger would fuck it up.
