Did no one notice this at all in Diablo?

Sure, but they could have had the inner "point" end pointing in any direction, and the outer point ending in any direction and it would still be a generic spiral. That one happens to pretty much have both points ending the exact same way as the hearthstone symbol (personally it made me think of the in game WoW hearthstone item, rather than the card game, but same difference really). It could be just random coincidence, but I would lean towards thinking this is intentional.

If you have an issue with moderation, please come talk to a global, such as myself. Don't derail threads with public discussion like this. There are plenty of ways to have your concerns addressed without disrupting other people.
