Mechanically it seems much the same as far as I can see.

Mechanically it also works as any other quest hub. There's so much more to it than that, might need to look closer at it clearly.

makes sense; because targeted vs aiming ... whether it be Wildstar or Tera vs WoW or SWtOR or Rift ... The action combat, positional requirements, and moving out of the way of stuff to not get hit is much better combat engagement than ... click/tab target, spam abilities.

Which you prefer is personal; the level of attention and need to avoid is much higher in the action based, aimed ability combat, than targeted stuff.

Neat! I think that this may be the killer "app" for WoD. We finally get player housing and it's a completely upgradable and customizable place with collectibles, daily quests and impromptu scenarios.

Garrisons will be loved by some; ignored by others. Think making it too integral, which also increased development time, was a goof imo.

See, I ignored the farm because I found it boring, and this really is like a bigger version of it.

If you liked it, great, I know a few people who really enjoyed it and I'm happy for them, but the fact that garrisonsto be the linchpin for WoD is a little dissapointing for those of us who didn't give a shit about the farm.

Still fuck it, I'll just ignore it as much as I can I guess.

Hard to ignore a feature that's going to basically be mandatory to do while leveling...

You're ignorant if you think the farm was based off Farmville. The entire Halfhill is a Harvest Moon reference and that game was GREAT.
