Internal Coodown Tracking for HT and AoC - Need to Know

I got how to set up the internal cooldown of AoC but cannot figure out how to track the internal cooldown of HT in Need to Know. Can anyone provide assistance?

If another cooldown tracker is better let me know that also - THX.

ExtraCD addon is awesome for tracking icds of trinkets/procs etc,or WeakAuras,no idea about NtK,never used it myself

Haromm's Talisman doesn't have an ICD because it's RPPM.

Minimum "ICD" is 10 seconds, max is infinite.

I use needtoknow it's solid, but like azor said Harmon's doesn't have an icd

Oh man, Azor changed his avatar, I didn't even recognize you for a second.

Basically, I just set up a WA for AoC's Dextrous for when it's applied, and another WA for the ICD for when Dextrous falls off for the (ICD - Dextrous duration), which in this case is 95 (115s ICD, 20s buff). Even though they're two separate auras, if you put them in the same group next to each other, neither will ever be up at the same time, giving the appearance of one bar....these are mine: a yellow bar filling down, a grey bar filling up for the ICD:

    Dextrous:
    Code:
    dmt7baGlQqBtbMPcAUcYSr0TvIDQs7LSBP6NQO)QiJtfgUKYbfu9yvLJjLZrL0cPIAPujwmvKLd5HubpfSmQYZvQjQQAQcnzKA6uUiuCvOkUSORtvTrf1wfu2SQSDOkDyunmO0Nr47kKPbvoTeJwGXRKoPKClfQRHKZdv13Ku9mQu)gLvtrbfbvDlrp(xgQ6J13HGAjj5eeWPzJMMlDIeD((tUfiylWZrSooqWIaAb0kkaXmULXC1emeZCuWJ1TzsoXwWjEIdRUyeyOcbrIuuqNVKBf1Tj4pxneZFltWN)2yltbf6uGvwsAzcCIJCGrYqkQBtZhnkxXnW7GcNNR4QF00BmLBD90CDpCnShT6uUpAn3hd0BmLBzcizCAffGyKPIcw8jTIIYKjtqqwicmD9OWkO7VerfcIeT1Tjy9892PPRhLausuy9i(1sbCFe3josGLRMpkf4mVBmN5ibfAb)5QHy(BbJk0wGUuyfG)57Ttt3Xnpkbmuj7g3kSUGWW4sSYHWhovDddJlagzc4kk4pxneZFlOQBj6X)YqvFS(oeuljjNGaonB00CPtKOZ3FYTazcWRUnCnSYKaa

If you really want it in NTK, the philosophy basically stays the same. I don't know that NTK allows the behavior of overlapping the bars or anything, it seems kind of simplistic. I just mocked these up real quick.

    NTK Dextrous:
    Code:
    bv1:{sIc=true,TF=Fmt_Float,Aura=Dextrous,Clr={b=0,g=0.9843137254902,r=1}}
    NTK Dextrous ICD:
    Code:
    bv1:{cdd="115",Typ=BUFFCD,sIc=true,acd=false,TF=Fmt_Float,Aura=Dextrous,Clr={b=0.36862745098039,g=0.36862745098039,r=0.36862745098039}}

TellMeWhen has bars now, and I think it would probably serve your purpose better than NTK. Originally, it had an icon functionality, but recently added NTK's bar functionality. A few mock ups:

    TMW Dextrous/Dextrous ICD group:
    Code:
    ^1^T^SPoint^T ^Sy^F6755403404672928 ^f-49^Spoint ^SLEFT^SrelativePoint ^SLEFT^Sx ^F7335946486382473^f-45 ^t^SRows^N2 ^SOnlyInCombat^B ^SEnabled^B ^SColumns^N1 ^SIcons^T ^N1^T ^SType^Sbuff ^SBarDisplay_EnableColors^B ^SName^SDextrous ^SBarDisplay_CompleteColor^T ^Sr^N1 ^Sg^F8795265154629439 ^f-53^t ^SBarDisplay_StartColor^T ^Sg^F8230107554331965 ^f-53^t ^SOnlyMine^B ^SConditions^T ^Sn^N1 ^t^SEnabled^B ^t^N2^T ^SType^Sconditionicon ^SBarDisplay_EnableColors^B ^SName^SDextrous ^SBarDisplay_CompleteColor^T ^Sr^F8759942804610847 ^f-55^Sg ^F4662550202454160^f-54 ^Sb^F4521260802379792 ^f-54^t ^SConditionDurEnabled^B ^SBarDisplay_Invert^B ^SCustomTex^S146308 ^SBarDisplay_StartColor^T ^Sr^F5298352502788819 ^f-54^Sg ^F5792865403049108^f-54 ^Sb^F5015773702640082 ^f-54^t ^SShowTimer^B ^SOnlyIfCounting^B ^SConditionDur^N95 ^SConditions^T ^N1^T ^SType^SICON ^SLevel^N1 ^SIcon^STellMeWhen_Group13_Icon1 ^t^Sn^N1 ^t^SEnabled^B ^SBarDisplay_MiddleColor^T ^Sr^F5298352502788819 ^f-54^Sg ^F5651576002974740^f-54 ^Sb^F5651576002974740 ^f-54^t ^t^t^SView^Sbar ^t^N62602^S~`~| ^Sgroup^N13 ^^

For overlapping NTK bars, you just have to create 2 groups and drag them on top of each other, not sure which z-index takes precedent, likely just 1,2,3 etc..

Well yeah, you can do that in TMW too. I just like the "dynamic group" idea of WA2, a set of bars that expands and shrinks based on how many are active currently.

I use TellMeWhen for this and pretty much everything, badass addon.

If TMW had dynamic groups, I'd ditch WA2 coimpletely unless I wanted some weird textures for my auras. Hint: I don't.

Unless things have changed since I last looked at RPPM, there is a maximum time before your next hit will guarantee a proc.

I could be wrong. I think that time is way longer than the average fight length anyhow, so I guess a more accurate response could be "max is a long time".

I have seen my TED at a 2.2 before it re-procced on Malkorok, max i think is 2.5 on ExtraCD

Thoroughly convinced you have the jesus ted that procs non stop, and like me you have the judas aoc that betrays you every time

  13. #13
Well an ExtraCD RPPM count of 2.5 isn't the point where the next shot is a guaranted proc, but it doesn't seem to go any higher.

  14. #14
Yeah, the bonus to proc chance seems capped but i suppose with horrific rng you could never get it to proc at all in a fight, but what's the odds of that? anyone fancy mathing it ? :P

  15. #15
Since it stops at 2.5 I guess that's the highest chance, which isn't guaranteed, which means that the theoretical max is infinite, but ExtraCD might just stop there because the authors don't know any better. Don't think anyone's gone in depth with it because it doesn't matter what the max is.

  16. #16
The only reason it would need to go higher is so you have something to rage about mid-fight

I did back in ToT. I can tell you that, at the time, the max time before a proc was t_max=(7h+2)/(6h^2) where h was the modified rppm chance (haste scaled it at the time), and t_max is in min. Note that this was BEFORE a bunch of changes happened to RPPM, like making it not scale with haste, ect, so the forumla is way out of date.

I'm fairly sure there is still a maximum time before your next hit, even in the continuous domain, would yield a guaranteed proc, as long at the RPPM value wasn't super low (because there were extreme cases even before).

Here is a link to the thread, but be warned that the information is horribly out of date and none of the information in my paper should be considered up-to-date at this point: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...inket-Analysis

Hahaha, the amount of times I'm waiting for AoC to proc and just shouting "PROC!! PROC!!!!" is too damn high.

I've had no problems with TMW, what exactly do you mean?
