question for my fresh 90 DK

So my main is an enhance shaman, currently heirloom wise I only have the normal and flex hellscream cleavers. Am i better off sticking with a sub 500ilvl weapon with strength? or would it be safe to use the 2 cleavers despite having agility + being enchanted with dancing steel until i get something from say LFR?

Use your strength weapons with Razorice runeforge on mainhand and Fallen Crusader on offhand, assuming you're frost DW.

yeah im DW for the moment, and using str weapons, just wondering if the weapon dps would offset the loss in procs/str. Thanks.

i am going to have to completely disagree with the advice to go for STR weps, the wepon dps is much more important than if the wepon have str or agi, i would go with the heirlooms untill you have soo lfr wepons

But the best way to get an anwser would ofc be to sim it

So I ran a few simcrafts, with the cleavers + dancing steel its about 134k dps, with DK enchants it jumps up to about 148k.
With the common 483 weapons its roughly 111k dps.

Obviously hellscream cleavers + fallen/razorice is better, however im not up for popping dancing steel on my axes everytime ima use them on my main, i guess DW dancing steel will have to do for now. Thanks for the advice!
