Wiring Inside the Wall... CAT6, Rg6 or something else?

since this is a long time infrastructure, i would build for more than your current needs, that being said, i would run this if it was my house:

2 CAT6e cables and 1 coax and 1 fiber to EVERY room in the house, even bathrooms and closets (you never know where you are going to put a smart TV or hide a NAS)

in offices and/or studio type rooms i would run an extra set of cabling

i would also run cat6e and fiber up to potential wireless access point mounting locations

It is not recommended that you rtun your Cat6 anymore than 100m from termination to termination. It can cause drops in signal or cause power issues if using POE.

Damn, when i made mine back in 2006, i did throw 2xCat6 in every socket for each room, never thought about fiber tho
Btw for anyone interested, in my longest socket/room, 17m, i had 2ms more lag in wow than next to router lol
