I hate, really really hate, whenever some media talking head decides to spout off about video game violence. Instead of dealing with what the majority of research has shown, increased aggressive behavior in high consumers, they take it into fear mongering territory flapping their gums with their "video games cause violence" derp. The reasons people engage in violent behavior is such a complex issue that we can't say "That thing, that specific thing right there causes violence!" All we can say with any certainty is that there are risk factors that can lead to violent behavior and that the more of these risk factors one possesses, the higher the likelihood of violent behavior. I don't know what saddens me more. That media talking heads think they are qualified to talk about issues they don't understand, or that their listeners think they are qualified and believe them.

People are not attacking his political views in this thread, they are calling him manipulative because he is in this instance telling lies and feeding his viewers them as the truth. Its called having critical thinking.

He is saying that by pushing a button on a gamepad, people learn how to hack. You wont even get into a simple WEP home network with that little effort, don't even think about devices designed for use in corporations.
I would guess that there is a no answer to the manipulative question and a yes answer.

If he knows what he is saying is untrue about video games, meaning the teaching to be a killer, and teaching people to hack, then yes, he's being manipulative. It seems pretty logical once you've played games or been a gamer that goes like these do not "teach" anyone to anything like what's being suggested that they do.

But if he really has no clue about the teaching aspect, and he's never played these games, then he's not really being manipulative as much as being completely naive about the subject matter.

To me, it can go either way. To me, it seems manipulative to suggest that 3 people in 100,000,000 have said they've done something violent because of the game. With those numbers in mind, there doesn't seem to be a causal relationship between committing violence and video games.

But then the flip side is that if he's never played Watch Dogs, or Assassins Creed, and what he knows is hearsay and what he's studied on the internet, it really makes him just naive on the subject. Though. to be honest, if this be the case, it does seem a tad hypocritical to address a subject like this and not really having actual game experience, or at least an actual rudimentary knowledge of how these games are played, and what a person has to do to "hack" into systems. if you are going to condemn a game like Watch Dogs, then have some actual knowledge of the game and it's gameplay before you do.

With one button push and little to no lasting repercussions, no less.

I was attacked by a wolf and so I ran.

After about twenty feet, the wolf ran back to its original location.

Well, it's not really a statement with no correlation like "vidyamagames cause gun violence". Nobody went on a mass murdering spree on an empty stomach.
If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.
