Recently, scouts have reported seeing undead milling about the region, engendering fears that the dreaded Scourge may be moving to conquer Kalimdor.

    Death Speaker Jargba
The Death Speakers of the Death's Head tribe serve two functions: to disseminate propaganda and to discipline those who refuse to obey Charlga Razorflank and, by extension, her mysterious new allies. Jargba has made a name for himself among the Death Speakers by dominating the very minds of dissidents, forcing them to accept the will of their leaders.

    Overlord Ramtusk
The commander of the Death's Head military forces, Overlord Ramtusk is a massive aging quilboar whose thick hide bears the scars of many battles with centaur, harpies, orcs, and even tauren. Rather than being slowed by his advanced years, Ramtusk directs his troops with the swift and confident authority of a battle-forged veteran. Striking him down would surely deal a crippling blow to the Death's Head.

Boars are revered within quilboar culture, and particularly large and tenacious ones are seen as a favor from Agamaggan. Already a powerful creature, Agathelos has been fed Kraul bat guano, which produces a maddening effect, resulting in increased stamina and strength. The Death's Head plan to utilize Agathelos as a powerful weapon to crush all who oppose them.

    Charlga Razorflank
The leader (or "crone") of the Death's Head and Razorfen tribes is Charlga Razorflank, a quilboar who experienced an unparalleled and meteoric rise to power. Her aim is to resurrect the demigod Agamaggan, but the dark and violent rituals Charlga and her minions perform are quite at odds with the Ancient's noble and protective demeanor.

    • Chain Bolt - Charlga Razorflank strikes her target with a lightning bolt that arcs to nearby players, inflicting Nature damage to 3 targets.

    Tuten'kash
Though blinded during the War of the Spider before his conversion to undeath, Tuten'kash still serves the Scourge as one of its deadliest crypt fiend commanders. Tuten'kash compensates for his blindness by decorating his lair with fine, almost invisible webs that allow him to sense every footstep and the lightest touch, alerting him to send out minions to ambush his hapless prey. Death Speaker Blackthorn
Death Speaker Blackthorn raised quickly through the ranks of the Deaths Head after the defeat of Amnennar the Coldbringer compelled by one purpose: to restore Amnennar to life. Afterward, the Lich King instructed his servant to remain in Kalimdor and expand the Scourge's influence. This effort was thwarted by heroes of the Horde and Alliance, however. Now the relative peace that has been brought to Razorfen Downs may be threated. Death Speaker Blackthorn hopes to revive this powerful lich and renew the assault on the Barrens.

After sacrificing untold numbers of innocents, the cult was rewarded with a new task: to protect one of the Old Gods' most cherished creatures, a pet that is still in need of nurturing before he can unleash his dark powers on the world.

    Ghamoo-Ra
When the Twilight's Hammer cult arrived, its followers roused and imprisoned one of the last peaceful creatures living in Elune's temple. The cult delighted in tormenting the giant turtle for years, flaying its mind and body until it succumbed to madness. Naming the beast Ghamoo-Ra, the cultists trained it to attack outsiders and defend the Old Gods' shrine.

    • Trample - Ghamoo-Ra inflicts Physical damage to all players within 0 yards.

    Lady Sarevess

    • Net - Gelihast throws his net at a player. Netted players are rooted for 2 sec.

    Old Serra'kis
Many of the creatures swimming beneath the Moonshrine Ruins were killed for food after the Twilight's Hammer cult took up residence, but the largest thresher in the water proved to be uncatchable, and those who persisted in hunting it inevitably died in the attempt.

    • Leech Pulse - Serra'kis leeches health from all nearby players, inflicting Shadow damage and healing himself every 4 seconds.

    Twilight Lord Kelris
When the cultists found a strange three-headed creature in the belly of Blackfathom Deeps, Twilight Lord Kelris was convinced the hydra was a herald of the Old Gods' return to Azeroth... and his ticket to immortality. Gelihast was first to fall under the crushing strength of Kor'ul, who then seized control of the cave dwelling murlocs. • Subjugator Kor'ul - Powerful enforcer of the Twilight Hammer who has subjugated the cave dwelling murlocs.

    Thruk
Thruk brings many valuable qualities to the Twilight's Hammer, but intelligence is not among them. • Overview -
      • Executioner Gore uses Executioner's Strike to damage everyone in the party and creates a void pool at the impact location.

    • Executioner Gore - Merciless executioner in the service of the Twilight's Hammer.

    Twilight Lord Bathiel
The Twilight Hammer do not tolerate failure, so the first command Twilight Lord Bathiel gave once he assumed control of Blackfathom Deeps was to throw Lord Kelris into the hungry maw of Aku'mai. Now, this elemental ascended commits the depths of his unfathomable power to raising the beast of the Old Gods and covering the world in black.

    • Overview -
      • Aku'mai summons venomous heads that use Toxic Bile to create acid pools in the area.

They probably won't ever remove Gnomer as an instance. It'll never make sense, but they'll never remove it.

OT: I like the lore given there. Now we know why the Naga seem to have disappeared from BFD. We also know the name of the temple when it was still a temple honored for Elune, as well. Interesting stuff!
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored
btw: Spires of Arak = Arakkoa.

could be interesting, I don't know what I expected the rehash dungeons to be, but I wont deny that im less then thrilled to see two of the old, old garbage instances remade. I would of preferred maybe some bc ones touched up. But whatever, time will tell how it all turns out and if memory serves at least one of those is not so long

OT: I like the lore given there. Now we know why the Naga seem to have disappeared from BFD. We also know the name of the temple when it was still a temple honored for Elune, as well. Interesting stuff!
gnomes have it back in lore. they need to reflect it so we dont have to go through that hell ever again.

i figured the naga were killed precata and cata changed the mobs to reflect that.

The Gnomes thought they had it back in Vanilla. They change the lore when it's convenient for them. They don't often take out instances, they're either converted into a different instance or updated. Even if the Gnomes have it back in lore, there's really no reason to change Gnomeregan as it is now. It won't become a city - they don't make racial cities much anymore, only sanctuaries or faction cities for the expansion. It wouldn't serve much of a purpose as a non-instanced version as well.

Of course, that's not to say I wouldn't like Gnomeregan to be a city or a non-instanced area to explore. They have options, I just doubt they'll use them.
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored
btw: Spires of Arak = Arakkoa.

Pretty sure those will have lvl100 versions later on... theres no way they did all those fancy mechanics jsut to be overrun with BOAs under 10 seconds.

I like how the lower end dungeons are being given some decent mechanics.

a dev(i think kosak) said gnomes have had gnomer back since the end of cata.
anyway its an annoying dungeon that should be taken out.
technically with the SM rework they did take out 2 parts of it. 2 wings from 4.

I can understand that - some of these fights look pretty sweet, but I don't really want to go back to level 20 or whatever to experience them. I wanna tank them at level 100 on my deathknight for valor and sweet loot.

I know I'd like to see heroic versions - the last couple of expansions felt a little light when it comes to dungeons. If we can't have completely new ones, then sweet revamped versions of older ones is a decent consolation prize.

create an alt or run it with the level 100 even though its a low level dungeon.

Good to see these dungeons updated, but it shows they could really stand to update the quillboar model at least to a Wotlk or Cata level of polygons. It's particularly choppy and ugly.
