Question about tailoring mounts

Hi all so just a quick one, if i have an alt level tailoring to 600, make the flying carpet mounts and then learn them will they count towards my mount total even though my main cannot ride them as he is not a tailor?

My main is not a tailor but they show up. They are unrideable, though.

Aye, all the crafting mounts count as mounts towards your total on all characters. Only class mounts are counted separately, meaning Paladins will always have 3 more mounts than all other classes except DKs and Warlocks which both have 2 more mounts than all other classes.

Yes, but tbh they should fix it so that class mounts are like crafted mounts. Won't change anything ingame, except it will be much easier to view total mount count.

It's fine as it currently is as you can always change your professions so that profession mounts become usable whereas you can't do the same for Class mounts.

There are a very few mounts that do not show up on all characters.

Rated PvP mounts (RBG, arena mounts).

C-mode mounts (Will be changed next expansion).

Class mounts. (Paladins can have 1 more class-only mount then warlocks/DKs.)

They do count for any achievement, but you cannot use them without that specific profession... Same thing with eng mounts, i think (my main is an eng).
