    Video Card Upgrade Question

Hey guys I currently have an Asus Radeon 7850 HD 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 but I have a buddy who is selling his Asus GTX 680 4GB GTX 680 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 for $200. Is it worth it to upgrade? I have no idea how much of a performance boost the new card would be over my current one. Future games I plan on getting are Arkham Knight, GTA V, CoD/Battlefield, WoW Warlords of Draenor (well, all blizz games really), Far Cry 4 and the new Tomb Raider, just to gauge the kinds of games I play (GPU-intensive-wise).

Sadly, I'd probably take it simply off the fact that you can likely sell it on ebay for a profit. That, or take it and sell the 7850 for $80 or something.

If I sell the 680, whats the best card I can buy based on the pool of games I play?

The gtx680 is far better than your hd 7850 or even R9 270x. But its not worth 200$ considering its used and that with 220$ you can buy a GTX760

Based on the games I listed, what is the best card for me? (Playing @ 1080p, 60 fps)

    Whats the budget then?

There is no budget, but I also don't want to spend extra for money for bragging rights or power I don't need. Just a video card to meet my needs (1080p, 60fps) for the games listed above.

for mmo's like wow a R9 270x, gtx760 is enough, you won't see any difference going above that. But gpu intensive tho, like Battlefield multiplayer you can pretty much use as much gpu power as you can get afaik. So you could go up to a R9 290, gtx780.

According to several sites I was comparing numbers and the 760 looks worse than the 680 unless I'm mistaken: http://www.hwcompare.com/14807/gefor...force-gtx-760/ . As for the 780, am I better off with the 780 or 780ti?

780 is more than enough for 1080p. 770 is probably the perfect card for that resolution. Definitely don't buy the 780 Ti unless you're planning to go to 1440p or 2160p (4k) some time soon.

200 is a lot for an "outdated" card, if you ask me.
