Far as pants and boots are concerned it's painfully obvious that they are striving for that kind of look, and it works for me.

    Holinka isn't new really

When wotlk rolled around people complained about the arena sets not looking like tier sets any more, this is the exact opposite.

I happen to agree with holinka and I don't see how it really matters. On the one hand having unique pvp sets can be cool and they often have a different style.

On the other hand PvE sets often look pretty awesome and having more recolors can be really neat. The BC sets were all pretty cool looking and I love having the different color scheme options for all of those sets.

    ??? I don't understand this reference.

I think it looks amazing. Definitely look alot more monk-like than the regular version. Especially with the fist on the shoulders and the jade/chi energies that come seeping out of the armor. I love how they made the shoulder and gloves look like one piece. The giant stone arms definitely look good on a monk since they'll be punching you with that.

I only wish they would make more armor look like one piece. Specifically shoulders, capes, and hoods so they would look like an actual huntsman/assassin creed-esque cloak and not separate pieces. That'd definitely be good to have in this game. But considering how slow blizzard is at discovering simple aesthetics like this, it wont be for another 3 expansions before this happens.. .

But you have to remember that now they are making 3 sets for raiding instead of just one. So if they keep it up with all raids, they'll actually be making 1 more set than previously. And they might make more transmog sets like the dark shaman set from SoO

It seems like blues are having tough time dealing unsatisfied player-base. Maybe Bliizard should think about why they are drifting away from the highway of good game.

Fitness reference, for people doing some sports.

"forgeting leg day" mean someone with the upper body overly developed compared to their legs.
Cause training legs is hard pussies skip it (jk).

Not that it matters since it's highly likely people will just transmog out of those sets like they did for a good portion of the Pandaria sets.

You would think the simple act of transmogging over your new artwork would be a wake-up call to the artists. When players like the old designs better that should really mean something; it should be a slap in the face.

They're not making 3 sets, they're making one base set and modifying it.

Prime example of someone that has no idea what is going on.

[18:23:11] [Nifredil] confesses: I once punched a gnome. No reason. I was just having a bad day.

So until no one uses Transmog, the artists are failures. Okay.

Which is exactly what they did with pvp sets in wrath, but no one seemed to really mind then, and sure, they look similar and have the same theme as a base (except for lfr sets), but that doesn't mean that one took less time and effort than the other. They had to draw out each set individually then create it on their computers.

And if the poster after you is talking about me, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. I haven't played the game in over three years, so I'm okay with being wrong about a game I haven't played for so long

Tanaris is Eastern Time and Greymane is Central Time. Will they each keep their time zone or will one be moved to the other?

Unrelated, I like this new Holinka. Stupid assholes are never going to listen to reason, they'll keep asking the same stupid questions and throwing around now-meaningless terms; - 'lazy' being the latest - it's time to get mad and tell it like it freaking is.

Except we already had 3 recolors between LFR and Heroic. Now we'll have two, and Elite PvP will be removed after each season and very likely out of reach of people who are simply interested in customization through recolors.

And how many people are using the early sets for transmog, in comparison to the final ones? S8 gear looks good, S6 is almost like leveling greens. There's an expected level of detail for a tier set. If you produce sets below those standards, even if they are made from scratch and completely original, players are not going to transmog into them very often. See MSV and MoP dungeon gear... WoD Normal gear looks drab in comparison to Mythic.

Like I said, I haven't played for 3 years, I have no idea who's using what. That's not the point I was trying to make. What seemed to me like a complaint was that they are just updating the sets off of a theme. They've done it before, back before transmog even existed, and no one seemed to complain then (from what I remember). Just because a set doesn't look better than t6, which a good number of people believe to be the best sets ever, people claim that it's ugly or that blizzard's art team sucks. Not every new set has to be the next greatest thing. My favorite shaman set has always been t2, even though many have come out with much more detail and were much more complicated, and they look great, but I'd still prefer t2. Doesn't mean t20 is ugly. I rather like the sets we have been shown and think blizzard's art team is rather creative, creating sets for 9-11, sometimes double that for pvp, classes every 6 months or so for the past ten years, for one single game. If you want ugly, go see swtor sets. Everything about them was ugly or boring. In my opinion, that game is completely characterless and flavorless, and pales in comparison to wow, in just about every way.

People have a hard time reading and understanding the simple fact that transmogrification is spelled as such, so they add an extra 'r' in the 'mog' part in an attempt to help their minds cope.

A lot of questions asked get a smug response, he's not really new. I like that mythic and pvp elite gear get different models, I just don't think it should be at the cost of pvp armor having no identity beyond a different color than pve gear.

I also thought blizz didn't wanna put a ton of work into rewarding a smaller population of subs, but whatever. Guess i'll aim to get mythic and pvp elite gear.

sigh, I Am a cloth wearing mage. I Am so fed up of the same crap tier armor they always make, never any tunics and stuff hanging from them that is painted onto the robe, its stupid, then on top of all of that they put huge stupid looking shoulder pads. That looks awful and doesn't fit with the cloth look at all. I'm so fed up with this crap that looks the same over and over and over again. WHY Cant the WoW artist make something new and nice for cloth wearers?

Tanaris will become CST and move physical location from New York to Chicago. The armory will also be buggy for all Tanaris players for a little while.
