If someone were to ask you to drive them to a place one hour and a half away at 12am what would you say? Also compensation is guaranteed.

Hey everyone
Um sure, if I'm not doing anything and they were not doing anything illegal and they were a friend? I mean if they were a stranger LOLNO.
You're a towel.

My bf at the time spontaneously asked if I wanted to go watch the meteor shower with him at 11pm, so I said sure. Because it was cloudy where we were, we drove 2 hours into Oklahoma, spent 30 min just sitting there talking and watching (and getting questioned by the cops as to why we were doing that xD), then 2 hours back at 3-4am. So far one of the best memories I have.
If you guys want the non-hypothetical version...
Buddy of mine is living in Wilmington in his apartment for the rest of the week, he's invited me down and of course I want to go, it's Wilmington for crying out loud. My car, however, is in the shop and I need a ride down there. So far I've nearly had a few people nearly say yes but they were caught off guard when I said right now or in the next day. I have to really ask you guys, would you really do it if someone messaged you at 12am?

Where can I find a girlfriend that would appreciate meteor showers? O.o
Hey everyone
well, it's only 1 hour and a half away. If it's a friend I'd do it if I was available.
It best be worth it.
No. I'd get home by, at most, 3:30am. I'd be exhausted when I get home after driving like that, so if anything comes up in the morning or early afternoon I'd pretty much be unavailable (falling asleep, sleeping, takes me about an hour to fully wake up).
Edited: I realized the answer to the first part of my reply.

Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
If it was dropped on me at 11:48pm I would say no. I like to do a little planning ahead. And the fact that you apparently knew about this and were telling people 'maybe in a day' seems like you're just being rude by saying "it's gotta be right now" even though you could wait a few days maybe. Especially if your friend isn't the coolest with the person who drives you. They'll just get stuck being the weird third wheel. At which point they're going to begrudge you.
if i did not have to work the next day - then yes.
but if i did - then no. i have to wake up at 6am... unless this was an absolute emergency like driving someone to a hospital etc.
Might be a bit weird, I drive a motorcycle. If it's a chick, there's a chance.
I've driven ~4 hours post-midnight to help my brother out (though I stayed there for like a week), so really it depends on the reason or my availability, but sure. I enjoy driving at night.
I've occasionally done that kind of stuff for my little brother and mates as long as I don't have anything planned for the next morning.
