Is druid leveling lacking?

Hello everyone!

I'm a long time druid player, I leveled my first one during Wrath, and now I'm trying once again on a new server - to prepare for WoD.

I am leveling as a feral kitty druid, because that is the only heirlooms I have.
But ... I'm finding it a little hard to level, and kinda slow. What is the best spec for leveling? What should i pick when i hit 80, and my heirlooms die out?
Should i go boomkin? or stay kitty?

Is druid leveling harder then other classes? I dont feel like i'm doing enough dmg...

Go bear same looms, you can use JP to upgrade the 80 looms into 85's

If that armory is correct, you're level 41 using a level 29 weapon

I roflstomped everything so quickly without BOAs.. idk what youre doing wrong. Are you using savage roar and tiger's fury a lot? Try getting the glyph of savagery, start with a 0 combo (or 5 combo if you can) savage roar, and burst the shit out of a mob by doing rake > mangle > ferocious bite when combo point amount feels appropriate.

For aoe you can do fine too, as you get a freeheal touch everytime you complete a 5 combo move, so you literally can't die because it heals you for half to all your hp.

Later on, by cata, boomkins become supreme if you have money to spare, because you can buy 450~ ilevel boomkin items while being lvl80-81 (Aka, 34 ilevels above dragon soul gear.. lol)

I actually prefer to level as feral even though I'm always balance/resto. It's really not that bad, especially with the savage roar glyph.
