Warrior pvp gear scaling not as good as other classes?

Up to the point that everyone got their 550 weapons (many moons ago), my Warrior seemed to scale very well and did a truckload of damage compared to other classes.

Now that I'm nearly full 550 I notice that other classes keep growing stronger with their gear while I'm hardly increasing my numbers.

So my question is: do Warriors scale badly with gear besides the weapon?

The scaling that we lack through gear is made up for by the fact we scale twice as much as anyone else with a weapon, so yes but it's been this way for awhile.
