    WoD Blade flurry?

Anyone know if blade flurry still hits corpses in WoD? With the change to it hitting everything one would think that it wouldn't matter anymore but, with the cap on aoe damage if you were in the middle of 20 mobs and aoeing everything down even after 18 of those had died you'd still be under the aoe cap penalty even though you'd only be technically hitting 2 targets.

It's such an annoying bug right now and it doesn't make sense that they haven't fixed it yet so hoping that it'll get fixed for wod.

Jesus, don't even bring it up. It's still early enough that they might just delete blade flurry instead of actually fixing the bug. We're "bloated", in case you hadn't heard.

Haha they already took out FoK if they took that out too then we'd have zero aoe what so ever. Go cloak proc?

There's an enhanced blade flurry, which takes away the target cap of it

You miss the point. With aoe there's a limit at which you do a certain amount of damage and from there on every extra mob you add to the pile reduces your damage more and more and more. I don't know the numbers but lets just say for arguments sake that if you were aoeing down 10 mobs and you hit them all for 1000 each and then more mobs got pulled into the pack and you were aoeing 100 mobs for 100 each. As mobs start to die other classes aoe would start to hit harder and harder til their back up to hitting 10 mobs for 1000. With the blade flurry bug if it continues to hit corpses you would essentially never stop hitting for 100 since the game would count that even though mobs are dying you would constantly be hitting 100 mobs instead of the correct amount of mobs still alive.

Does that even effect BF? I remember back when you could BF with FoK on the trash before Sindragosa and how OP it was because the only thing effected by the AE soft cap was the actual FoK damage. Is BF not counted as just a single target hit since they changed it to hit up to 4 things?

BF counts as a cleave and not an actual AoE move afaik.

    Cleave is also an aoe.

There's a flag on attacks saying that they are aoe or not. Blade flurry won't hurt a totem, because it's aoe. You can feint blade flurry and take less damage, because it's aoe.

Honestly, blade flurry is probably not subject to the aoe cap, because it has a separate target cap on live. This doesn't tell us how it will work in WoD- it could be coded with the standard 20 cap at which point it diminishes, or it could be coded as a true aoe. Unless it is the final case, we will lose damage to corpses unless the bug is fixed, but nowhere NEAR as much damage on live.

On live, if you flurry into five living enemies and four corpses, half of your attacks will hit corpses and your flurry damage will be wasted at 50%. If you flurry into 20 corpses and 4 mobs, well, your damage will mostly be useless. In the expac, the first case wouldn't cost you anything, and the second would cost you not even 20% damage.
