Stop cast macro not working even with double line

So I'm trying to create a stop cast macro for my counter shot. I've checked various places on the web and all sources say two /stopcasting lines are required, however in practice this isn't working for me.

I've got

/stopcasting
/cast counter shot

I can see it trying to use the counter shot but it's not stopping the cast no matter how many lines I put in or how many times I spam.

i think you're missing a few more /stopcasting

either latency issue or addon blocking the macro.

I have 2 lines and it works every time.

Also not sure if it makes any difference but on the #showtooltip line you don't need the spell name.

You have to make sure you use capitals for the spells or it does not work

This is proper one, only 2 times stopcasting - first to interupt yourself from casting cobra shot, second to prevent autoattacks. UIErrorsFrame to clear and stop getting things like over circling.
