Having a hard time understanding Festerblight 2.0

I've been out of the raiding game for a while and jumped back into a guild and working on H Garrosh. I understand that Festerblight 2.0 is probably the way to go in terms of single target DPS but I'm having a hard time understanding how to apply it. If memory servers Festerblight 1.0 was to just stack procs, pots, etc and apply diseases and have them roll through the whole fight by replacing Scourge Strike with Festering Strike on Death runes. How does festerblight 2.0 differ from that? If someone could break down exactly how to go about applying FB2.0 I would really appreciate it.

Basically festerblight is 2 min window (roughly rotation). At pull with all trinket proc + pot you apply deseases and when they are at the max you keep them up until the next window where trinkets procs again (2minutes).

It goes like this:
pull , full procs -> strongest desease applied. Keep them from falling
2minutes later: trinkets can proc again.
Event: trinket procs, on use procs to be used , reapply deseases.

repeat every 2 minutes.
