Need help buying a new computer

Hey guys my system is getting pretty old now and I think it's time to get a new computer all together, I know how to build a computer roughly so I have decided to buy the separate parts or buy it through PCpicker... the main problem is I don't really know a great deal about computer parts and which is worth spending the money on and what isnt, so i'm hoping you kind guys could

    General Info:
I'm looking to spend around £800 (im in the UK btw) but I can go a bit higher or lower depending on what you guys think
I'm a graphic designer so I tend to have multiple programs open like photoshop, illustrator etc
I only really play games such as Wow and league and diablo, I play some random games on steam but not very often so I would like to continue to be able to play them 3 games on high still

I think thats about it, I don't really want windows 8 but if I have to get it I will, I have a screen, mouse and keyboard so i'm only really looking for a tower to be built

Do you need the OS to be included in this budget?

Could you reuse the HDD for storage?

Yeah I would like the OS to be included which you have and I assume so? Like I don't really know if there's HDDs that aren't compatible? but if there isn't then it should be fine to use

Also is there any benefit to having windows 8 over just using windows 7? do they both take up similar space etc? or would it effect loading speed etc

Unless it's a really old IDE hard drive you should be fine. SATA connection and you're good.

Microsoft stops updates in about 6 months for Windows 7 so for future updates and support (like DirectX 12) I'd just go with Windows 8.1, it also has better memory management and many other smaller improvements under the hood. If you're worried about the UI you can easily tweak it yourself or just use Classic Shell, take no time to install and it's set and forget.
