    What is your town/city like?

What is your current town or city like where you live?

Crumbling infrastructure. Gentrification everywhere. Real estate prices have nearly quadrupled since I was a teenager, which is way the fuck out of step with income inflation. Mosquitos everywhere. But it's home.

Smoky and hot as fucking camel balls, because the province next to us is on fire and it's all blowing this way.

    Otherwise, usually ok.

Sounds like Los Angeles, minus the mosquitoes.

Nice enough city, but the building works for this totally unnecessary infrastructure project are so annoying. Not to mention that the project is 5 years late and, at this rate, will cost 1.5 billion Euro by the time it is done instead of the 500 million that it was supposed to cost.

Oh. Sask and Manitoba are on fire too. It's also an annual thing here. It was really smokey out last night here.

Well, smaller than 1,000 people, so I'll let you come up with your own ideas about it.
Going to live in a college town soon though, so it matters not either way.

It is an inferiority complex. the average city council man cries him or herself to sleep over Copenhagen being bigger. Half the decisions are made trying to be a better Copenhagen despite not being able to be a Copenhagen and the other half falls apart due to a lack of money and then them politicians whine about the government not giving them billions of Euro for their new pet projects

Other than that it is a nice town. I mean if i ignore the horrible inferiority complex. I think we have a football team or two.. and a university (also known as a malevolent tumor swallowing more and more of the town until nothing else is left.) one of the bigger hospitals in the country and a nuthouse, a decently sized cargo/shipping harbor whatever the name is.. what to say? It is Aarhus. Also home of the completely non famous "the Old Town"

It's nice. I'm currently living in the outskirts of Manchester in a rather affluent area bordering on Cheshire. It takes roughly twenty five minutes to reach Manchester city centre by tram and the area I live in is very peaceful and full of interesting and high quality cafes, restaurants, a cinema and Waitrose and M&S are the local supermarkets.

Beautiful landscape imo, good infrastructure, close to bigger towns with connections all over Europe. It's a university city with around 80.000 inhabitants of which 40k or something is students. Free 1 gb/s internet. I love it.

No, it's mosquitos. But our unique feature is that we're the only city of nearly 700,000 people that doesn't have a proper freeway system.

Have you guys just been dumped on with rain this year? Down to your south here it's just been water-world.

That's why they built the human rights museum here I bet.

Also the Manitoba museum has one of those video player displays about the native americans that has an out of order sign on it, but they actually just put an out of order sign on it because the video it plays when you press the button is racist.
