Check out the new "Warsong" skin for Orcs (image of hunched and non-hunched versions)

    Behold, for it is glorious:

Seriously, I would play the everloving SHIT out of that character, right there. The skin looks awesome, the no-hunch model looks awesome... I love everything about that second image. You couple that with a decent transmog-set, and you've got yourself a Warrior that could take on the world (of Warcraft! amirite?).

    Wow... that unhunched version. ;n;

That simple armor set is better then 90% of the tier IMO. Same with the Shattered Hand attire.

The ''no-hunch model'' is just a different posture I think.

    Anyway, looks good IMO.

The supposed "no-hunch" posture is just the end of the bow/rifle firing animation. Sorry to burst your bubble.

  7. #7
Ah yeah, sorry; guess I should've specified that! Yeah, all it is, is the new Orc model during the "AttackBow" animation, I simply froze it at a point where he was just standing. Very stoic-looking, though!

In any case, like I said; I just love the look of a non-hunched Orc. It still looks very distinct, but a lot more imposing, whereas the former has sort of a "vacant" expression. But man... taking the non-hunched look *and* the Warsong skin? I don't think I would ever play another character again!

They have a few new skins for orcs in WoD - unfortunately not obtainable.

The Dragonmaw get a new skin with glowing eyes (but lose the tattoos): http://imgur.com/aVn47wT
    There's a dark brown skin: http://imgur.com/H1fHY3r
As well as a lighter, slightly mutilated skin: http://imgur.com/ROu5iOX

I could easily see all the new variations eventually going to playable orcs, or being part of the Mag'har subrace, if that's ever made.
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored

I doubt he's unhunched. He's probably shrugging and looking over each shoulder.

For those of you that like the armor model, I recall someone saying that you can collect armor scraps from the respective Orc clans and use them for transmog.

True, it makes so much more sense design wise and just looks so much better than any of those absurd tier stuff.

The armory building in your Garrison allows this. My worry is that we'll just get the
"Warsong Armor" set, or the "Shattered Hand Armor" and be unable to get more
    specific ones like this.

Nope, the death knight skins look much more like the Dragonmaw skins. The last one is used for several clans of Draenor, but seems to be some Shattered Hand skintone (as they're known for being sadistic).

^ DK skin - NPC named Munch.

Why, just why players cannot have armor types like this... simple, but effective. Most of armors now are looking like scaffanders from hard sci-fi movie, and they look heavier than tanks. I wish something like WoD orc's outfits or something more vanilla styled.

And - I don't know this orc is in fact unchunched or this is just an animation pose - but he looks great. Definitely not like just "brown human with big teeth". Looks more like Warcraft 3 orc, proud and strong.

Yeah, the actual physical change in posture is actually pretty subtle, all things considered, but it totally changes the "feel" of them, definitely making them much more "Orc like", I think. The hunched version just looks kind of dopey, to me, so I'd absolutely kill for Blizzard to change them before launch. And yeah, it's purely an animation pose; all of the awesome you're seeing is 100% courtesy of Blizzard, I just took the screens :P

And yeah, I also dig the armor, as well. Granted, I still think the Tusks of Mannoroth are probably the coolest looking shoulders in the game (even without Lore, they just look really brutal), but I definitely love the armor-designs for the Orcish Clans. I'm also hoping they make those available, preferably for all armor-types, similar to the Straw Hat and Shado-Pan scarf.

Also; I *LOVE* the Night Elf in your avatar!!! Definitely looks like the spitting image of what a Night Elf ought to look like.
