Hopefully that just means that it isn't going to be bogged down with lore details that only a hardcore fan would know. It needs to be fresh and accessible.

And after seeing Duncan as Director, I dunno, I'm not a movie buff or anything, but when I searched about him I found out he's more or less a "newbie" and son of Celebrity, so I was kinda Neutral about the whole thing. But now, with all the props popping up and the positive feedback about the movie, I'm getting really hyped.

Duncan and a lot of the crew are Warcraft fans too, that's my font of confidence at
least. One of the FX guys said he would run on very little sleep during Golden Compass
because his guild raided late at night and work started early in the mornings.

Biggest reason I'm thinking Durotan is his build, and his voice. He was actually supposed
to have voiced Thrall in that cancelled Warcraft game. It'd be great to have him as either,
though. He fits both so well.

But:

The footage was very brief, mostly focusing on the various landscapes of Azeroth. However, there was a brief battle clip, revealing Travis Fimmel’s character. He’s playing a human, a knight with a massive beard says AICN’s Eric Vespie. This can only mean that Fimmel is playing Anduin Lothar in the film.

IIRC, WETA is just doing props. The orcs are being handled by the ILM team behind the Hulk in the Avengers.

Paula Patton is apparently Garona, she's depicted with green skin, licking someone's face. Bit of a temptress, so it makes more sense than Draka, I suppose. We already know Ben Foster is Medivh. Dominic Cooper is described as looking nefarious; the only other human mentioned in the summaries has been Llane Wrynn, so maybe him?
