What are these bots doing?

Hey

While going to farm mog gear in blackrock instances, i came across this place which i thought was desolate. I saw random players around -only druids- and when i looked closely, their behavior was kinda odd, so i assume they are bots.

Does anyone have any idea what are they farming/doing?

Probably searching along a preset path looking for nodes to harvest, or looking for rares.
