What do you do when WoW is down?

Maintenance is usually finished by the time I log on to WoW. The only time maintenance cuts in on my playtime is when it's an "extended" maintenance that goes on for like 12+ hours if something goes wrong. I only play WoW in late evenings, so maintenance is usually long finished.

If WoW is down in later evenings for some reason, I just play other games. Usually something on Steam. Killing Floor (zombie killing) and Chivalry (PvP free for all/capture the flag stuff in a medieval setting) are usually my favorites.

Or sometimes I'll just get drunk and watch a movie.

I'm sure you've all been there, you want to play WoW yet can't because it's down/not available to you at the moment. What do you do to occupy yourself/feed the addiction?

I usually wake up and start cleaning up my house/yard right away, give my kid a bath, dog a bath, take the dog for a walk, go to the grocery store, pay my bills etc; so that when the server comes up, I can just play without anything in the back of my mind. Basically the same shit I do most days, just clumped all together and knocked out at once instead of in between queues lol.

Usually doesn't bother me. I'm at work for almost the entirety of all maint. days. If there is an outage off those times, there is always something to catch up on the DVR (Haven't started The Strain yet) and stuff on Netflix I'm kinda getting around to watching (Hemlock Grove, The Killing) or there is always the FTP games that I still poke at like SWTOR, Wildstar, Rift.

If I KNOW in advance that there will be a longer maint time, i'll just go to Hooters or Twin Peaks on the way home and remember why gaming sucks and bewbs are awesome.

Browse MMO-C, read, play games on Steam and such, catch up on tv shows and
movies I've yet to see, watch reviews, browse YouTube, work, hang out with friends...

But usually just browse MMO-C while watching TV.

Sleep, watch movie, exercise, meet family members, browse the web, clean...anything I do whilst WoW is up as well really. Hoping that it'll soon be a case of "What do you do in WoW while your adorable rottweiler puppy is sleeping next to you?" for me...^^

The same thing I do when WoW is running, not play it. I used to just play a diff game, CoD, borderlands, diablo, whatever I felt like playing.

This is an easy question, I play another game. WoW isn't the only game I play.

Play all sorts of single player games. Most are garbage and the good ones I play for like a week tops. I also play other MMOs, all of which turn out to be garbage after the first 2 weeks, and then I get called a troll by people using chua avatars (the fanboy uniform) and finally get banned from their forums for criticizing them.

Been doing this since February when I quit wow. Currently I'm done with June's batch of garbage games, both single player and MMOs, and am looking forward to July's batch of garbage. I did indentify a a few games appearing in July that seem to have potential to be more than trash.

Basically I feel like this guy.
