I wonder if I could use my Wacom HD tablet...now I have something to experiment with. I thought for sure you meant it was available on mobile devices but this is the next best thing if it works.

I'm using my Bamboo one but it's a bit big so it's not as easy moving from one side to the other. I've already reduced my osu screen to 800x600. Reallocating the size also helps but I faiiill. lol.

Question: when I was playing last night one of the songs had a note that changed color right after I pressed on it and I keep missing that note. When it changes color do I have to tap again?

It was only happening in this one song so it's really weird. When I get home maybe I'll try to record it. I didn't see any note underneath it it just changed color...but I'll assume that it was two overlapping notes and I just didn't see it. Maybe? Usually you have that outline of extra notes but it wasn't there. I swear!

Yeah-- like people have said, I'm pretty sure it was a perfectly overlapped note. So you completed the string of notes that you were currently on and it changed color. They just happened to be on top of each other.

The notes should only change colors if there is another note. It was probably two overlapped notes with the bottom one being kinda hidden. That happens quite a bit if you don't have a skin with transparent hit notes.

The jump from 2 star to 3 star is pretty big, then from 3 to 4 is muuuuch bigger. Hard -> insane is probably the biggest jump most people have to do. After that i've found that the difficulty doesn't jump around much. It gets a lot harder, but it's more consistent.

Ya they did. It was pretty silly before. Though there are still some 5 star maps that have no business only having 5 stars.

It's still pretty silly imo, at least depending on what you're looking for. It only seems to rank based on the difficulty to get a S rank (but completely discounts AR, and barely seems to care about the length of the song..) , and even then, some maps are really odd...

I don't take stars as anything more than a very rough indicator.

I don't know if it takes into account length at all. I know PP does now, but I don't think the star rating does. It's a decent indicator or how hard songs are, but sometimes it's way off. I don't think Remote Control is as hard as the stars lead you to believe, and then songs like LUVORATORRRRRY! are waaaay harder. Though it is an HW map so...

you can always record your replay. I watched a bit earlier as you were attempting it, but I didn't have too long to stay around.
